    The New Show Girl

Just picked her up last week, her name is Serenity. She's got a lot of maturing to do, and won't be ready to do any winning for probably another year, but we've got high hopes for her!

Her name is Serenity. Oddly enough, I raised her sire... and showed her sire for the first time as a puppy, at a fun match. He was dumped, judge hated him... I wonder what she'd say if she learned he's now a BIS winning dog.

    Anyway.... photos.

Photo of Dad (as a young dog)

Photo of Mom (horrible photo, but this girl never photographs well!)

    Photo of Baby Serenity

Let's see... more info... well, she's a year old, she's vWD Clear, carries dilution... so if she's ever bred, it'll have to be to a #1 or #3 Black, or a #7 red. I do not want to produce any dilutes! Her mom is blue - and though she's a nice blue, I'm really not a fan of the dilutes and their coat issues.

Great prospect there. I prefer borzoi, but know a good dog when I see one. Do you have any movement tapes? Lets face it daddy may have been dumped because the wrong person was on the lead or most judges at matches tend to be up and coming judges and don't understand how to weigh out faults against the good points. I overheard a judge say that she refused to put any dog up with a missing tooth. The missing tooth is not the whole package.Good luck with your new kid!

OOPS! Sorry I didn't read how my post sounded. I hope you understand that by wrong person I meant politically. They are gorgeous animals.

    Re: The New Show Girl

LOL! No problem Blu, I know what you mean - to some judges, the dog isn't what matters... it's the human on the other end of the lead.

More photos from today. Keep in mind it was about 35 degrees here, with waves of icy rain and sleet. It's amazing we were able to get *any* photos!
