    First, welcome the forums!

Secondly - please only start one thread about the same topic, and allow members the chance to see your thread to respond. Many are at work right now. When members who have experience with gophers jump online, I'm sure they'll be happy to help you!

I've merged all three of your threads into one.

    Re: snake

About the handling, I'd say 15 minutes a day (but NOT within 24 hours of feeding). And that reminds me, does your Gopher snake eat well for you?

P.S. I might as well ask you now just in case: are you going to remain on this forum?

    My snakes:
0.1 Kenyan Sand Boa ~Nephthys~ (aka "Linky")

    In a better place:
    1.0 Pastel Western Hognose ~Charon~ 10/3/07-4/24/09

If you need/want to know anything about Hognose snakes, just ask me.

    Re: snake

all pituophis tend to be rather "nervous" as a whole the more you hold him the better and if he starts hissing hes just doing what pits do. And i would say dont hold him within 48 hours of feeding.
