Eggs are too small to make a decent omelet. Plus the kids would kill me if I don't let these hatch. These things lay 2 eggs every month or so. If I left them all to hatch, I would be overrun with doves in less then a year.
First one is out of the egg and snuggling up with mom.
Congrats! I have some babes on the way here too, can't wait to see those ugly little dinosaur heads poking out of the nest cup. LOL First of 3 canary eggs. Make sure you share some pics of the little boogers growing up so we can Ooo and Ahh over them.
