Here are some pictures of Snickers!

Well here are some pictures of my beloved Snickers.

I was also wondering if you guys think he is just a Normal Normal Ball Python? I've always gotten a "Wow, thats a beautiful Snake for being a Normal" and similar comments and some say they don't think he's a normal, so I was just wondering on you guy's opinion.

    Thanks.

Friends? Snickers is friends with everyone. =P

He just finished a bad shed, putting in a humid hide in a few days to stay in there from now on. I guess florida humidity of 54-60 constantly isn't enough. and misting doesn't keep the humidity up for more than 3-5 minutes.

Well, I meant the humidity in the enclosures are a constant 54-60% Outside it's probably a little higher. But pushing it to 70% for shedding doesn't really work out lol.

Humid Hide is my answer I guess. =P

My Columbian is about to shed right now, but he is smart and has been soaking quite a bit, compared to Snickers whom ONLY uses the water for drinking.

yeah, i find it very hard to up the humidity from the standard since my house is so dry, and getting it to a good level takes alot of effort. so she gets a humid hide for when she sheds.

If you have the right size of tub/tank and a nice sized water bowl humidity shouldn't be much of an issue. I notice that if my snakes get dehydrated they will run their body through their water bowls, or get a drink. If the humidity gets low their eyes may dent, in which case I'd say just pour some water in their tub, and right before shed day I pour a bit of water in their tub as well, this way their skin comes off cleanly every time.

I get that a lot too about my normal female...I kind of wish she was something else but I just call her a pretty normal/golden normal/fancy normal

Snickers looks like he's a normal but you never know...he has some nice gold and white sides and beautiful speckling

    He's definitely a handsome boy!!
