Rescued a Hermans
Well, this little guy belongs to me now. They seemed the have his housing and food alright, but their uvb light was the culprit here. They were using the dreaded Compact 10.0 and of course it caused the eyes to swell. This is his good eye
Im going to give him a soak and get him under a MVB, his shed is deformed as well.
Any suggestions would be great. Hes movingh around and eating, so I know he cant be too far off.

Come here little guy. You're awfully cute and fluffy but unfortunately for you, you're made of meat

Well, it look relatively healthy despite the obvious shell deformation and the swollen eye, and even then the shell issure doesn't seem to be that great, as long as it is walking and doesn't have spinal issues. The eye is something to watch very closely.
From what i can see there isn't really any shell rot, pyramiding, really nothing out of the ordinary other than that one spot.
Proper diet, UBV, and calcium should fix most of the problems over time.
Of all the tyrannies a tyranny executed for the good of its victims may be the most oppressive. for it may be better to live under robber barons than under omnipotent moral busibodies. For a robber baron's cruelty may cease; his cupidity may at some poitn be sadiated. But those who torment us for out own good do so without ceasing because they do so with the approval of their conscience. ~C.S. Lewis
