    Male breeding weights?

What weights do you like to keep your males at for breeding. Not what weight can they breed at but I am curious if you like to try and keep your males around a certain weight. Thanks!!!

    Re: Male breeding weights?

I do not think it is a specific weight, since BPs are so variable in the size they attain.

But I like to keep my boys a bit on the lean side. As I am upping the girls' feed I tend to slow the males down a bit.

But again, that is based on the snake. I have one breeding this year that is 2.5 kg and one that is 400g. But on average my boys range in the 1200-1500g range for adult breeding males.
