Wink Some*DUW* Pics of Baby and the new Adoptee, Cruiser.

Well, got an e-mail about a dog that needed a home, and couldn't help but go take a look. His name is cruiser. He used to be a bait dog, is pretty beaten up and with his teeth filed down to near molars, and is heartworm positive. Yet, he has the most gorgeous eyes and is very timid in nature. When I went to go visit him, I took Baby to see if they would get along, kinda thinking that something would happen, something would keep me from taking him home... But alas, I could make no excuses. He's a big old beaut, and is more than receptive to any offered TLC. I kinda took a whole bunch of pics, and somehow only managed a few of Baby. I need to get more, but she's doing well. Loves just about anyone now. Eats like no other, and has gained 20 lbs, but I swear she looks just as skinny as when I picked her up off the road. Please forgive the pink sweater... she hates the cold, and won't leave the porch without a sweater... and my female partner in crime just bought the "pretty pink thing". Enjoy!

Thanks y'all, he's great. He's pretty timid, not to the extent Baby was, but still shy. It's funny, my favorite type of dogs are hounds, but I keep ending up with pits pit/mixes. I guess there's a greater need for pit friendly homes then hounds, and dogs involved in dog fighting have a special place in my heart.

When baby tries to play with cruiser he just feezes. Not even the slightest bit of reaction. I guess he was trained to not react to other dogs when they attack, so I can see how he got all torn up. I guess there's a silver lining in it all, baby doesn't find him to be a threat at all, and he's not confrontational. They just ignore each other for the most part. But I'm stoked he's off the streets, he's a lover.

    Thanks all for the comments!
