Talking And my kitties: Athena and Jewel

Here are my kitties. I adopted Jewel from a person on Craigslist when she was only 5 weeks old. They told me she was 8 weeks old. I had to bottle feed her for a few weeks though. SHe was a SUPER annoying kitten. She bit, and attacked me and basically wouldn't leave me alone. I didn't want another kitten but I think she was lonely when I went off to work or whatever.

So than came Athena 3 months later. I went again on Craiglist to check out what was available and someone had 12 kittens to choose from. I was going to choose a striped kitty but I saw this little Calico kitten and she was adorable. I was told she was a troublemaker but I didn't really care. Turns out she is the smartest cat I've ever encountered. She knows sit and high five right now and will learn other tricks. Jewel could care less about treats. Athena is my treat fiend. She comes when called and meows at me a lot. She's definitely a little talker.

On with the photos of my girls.

    Athena:

Jewel(as a kitten, can't place the new ones up because Firefox is being retarded!)

I'll put up some more when I get the chance and firefox isn't being so stupid.

Red face Re: And my kitties: Athena and Jewel

Here is Athena doing High Five. It didn't take her long to learn. I didn't even know I could teach her. Actually it is more like she taught herself. " Oh treat?High five!"

Jewel(named after the singer) is a lazy fat cat. LOL. She wouldn't do a trick if her life depended on it. I don't know how she manages to do it, but she's always dirty. I try to bathe her once a month but it seems I need to do it more.
(I took my sisters camera and took these photos. I love it!)

Calico's are personal favorites of mine - so I love your Athena! And Jewel is a gorgeous kitty as well!

Cool Re: And my kitties: Athena and Jewel

I think Athena is part parrot, seeing as she always perches on my shoulder and back area. It gets old after awhile. Picture below.

I taught her "Wave"! LOL. She learns faster than my dog. She is too smart for her own good. I wonder what else I can teach her? Hmm..My other cat wouldn't do any tricks to save her life.
