The moon up close and personal

I got a new adapter in for my little ETX 90 telescope and thought I would try it out a little. I did have some issues with shutter speed and high thin clouds and that messed up the sharpness some.

The focal length of the telescope is over 1250mm and the shots where taken a 1/50 of a sec. Yes, 1/50th of a sec. And there are two shots here, one laid ontop of the other, which is why there is a line in the bottom fourth of the image. Never really stitched two shots together before, so maybe next time I can get it right

This image will actualy fit here (though its still a bit heavy on the bytes) but I will provide a special treat....

And the special treat (a larger version of this image) can be found:

    Enjoy
