    My new Pastel girl

I think "On FedEx vehicle for delivery" has got to be the phrase which causes the most anticipation around here!

Woke up to that this morning. The FedEx guy left a little while ago.

Albey sent me a beautiful pastel girl. She is in blue and still looks incredible.

    Pictures in a few...

    Re: My new Pastel girl

So here are some quick photos, didn't want to mess with her too much.

I have her in a 25qt Sterilite. Her RBI hide is sorta small, I thought she was going to be smaller! Guess I'll be buying more hides!

The gladware is full of damp sphagnum, to help with her impending shed.

Of COURSE she had to be blue (Albey warned me in his email, lol) so you can't really see her awesome blushing. Hopefully in a week I'll be able to show you some sweet post-shed shots.

    Thanks for looking!

And THANKS ALBEY for a great experience and a great snake.

Now I just need to come up with a name for her.

    Re: My new Pastel girl

Here is an update! Today she weighs 1490g. She is almost 2 years old now. In July of last year she weighed 671g... is that a pretty good growth weight?

Here are a couple of shots from today:

    Re: My new Pastel girl

I was hoping to breed her to my Pinstripe from Tim Bailey this coming winter, but he went on a 6 month fast and might be a little small still, we'll see!

Wow, she really lightened up! She is gorgeous. Yep, at 1490, I would say that is right on as far as her growth.
