    Anaconda Enclosure Pics???

Hi everyone, I wanted to know if all you guys with Anacondas could put some pics up of the set ups you have for them. I just got my new guy from NERD and am looking for a little inspiration and ideas how to make him feel more at home. Thanks!

did you get a yellow or green anaconda? their enclosures could be very different considering their size differences.

I don't have any pics but also don't have anything too special for my Condas. I keep them in the 7ft AP Cages and have a very large water bowl in each and keep them on newspaper. Nothin too fancy but they're healthy, happy and eating machines

i have a yellow, and most people put them in AP cages, or somthing similar, just because its easy to maintain.

im getting a 6 foot AP cage for my yellow soon.
cant wait. its also what we use for our burms.

    Re: Anaconda Enclosure Pics???

The yellows I've got are in laaarge and 6' long, glass tanks with homemade wooden lids. I got them from the seller of my biggest ball girl..he was giving the tanks and lids away. Right now, the annies have large cat litter pans for baths and the aspen for bedding, plus the heat gradients (the other guy didn't have enough heat outside for them). Except for when Annie splooshes all over and I have to change the bedding more frequently, they're happy...eating every week, shedding and pooing.

The plan is to get some AP (or similar) 8-footers.

    Re: Anaconda Enclosure Pics???

well yellows dont really spend alot of time in water, not nearly compared to green, my setup i have is fairly simple, ill get pictures tomorrow, its a 30 gal, i have a huge water bowl so she could fit in if she wants, a hide on the warm side, and cypress mulch bedding. greens spend alot of time in the water because its easier for the water to hold the body weight then themselves. so if you have a green id maybe look at doing some type of water/land setup.
