Thanks all. It takes maybe 10 minutes to build and as I said is really efficient. Next season I am going to remove the heating element from the cooler and put it in a small fridge. I will update ya on how that does.

Have you thought about adding a fan to it? I've got a few extra hovabators laying around I might take a look at them for this purpose.

Does it still utilize the original thermostat?
I THOUGHT I read somewhere the original stat wasn't the greatest...

The Hovabator I used, had a fan built into it. The fan would kick on when the heating element would be on.

Ya I use the original thermostat just to calibrate the temperature. I just adjust the dial warmer/cooler until the thermometer reads what I want...
