    Earthshine

I bet many of you have heard of Moon shine, well hows about earhshine? This is caused by light being reflected off of earth onto our moon. Pretty interesting effect and is best seen right after a new moon.

Hope no one minds my pics, It seems as if I am hogging up the whole forum with my photos

This is cool stuff. What kind of lens set up did you use. I am just getting into photography so I would love to learn how to get great pictures like this.

For this shot, I used a canon 30D, ISO 100. Exposure was 2.5 seconds at f/5.6. The lens was a canon 70-200mm f/4L at 200mm

    A tripod was required

Nice Job! I don't mind but I think I'll be posting here myself more often too. I herd that 70-200 f/4 is pretty sweet, I had sigmas 70-200 f/2.8 but it focused incorrectly so I sent it back. Keep them coming! --Josh

How did you do this with 2.5 seconds?

When I have a telescope set up the moon keeps getting out of view because of our earth's rotation, so how did you do that with your camera?

It doesn't look blurry at all, nice shot!
