How often do you weigh your snakes

Just got a scale today so I can quit trying to guess how big my little guy is and can monitor his weight.
He weighed in at a stellar 261g

I was thinking about weekly, but that is probably overkill. Maybe bi-monthly?

What are your thoughts?

I keep crappy records, but try to weigh my snakes once a month.

The females and hatchlings I tend to be more consistent with, adult males that have plateaud in the their weight, not so much.

But good records are a great resource. If you ever have to make a call to the vet, the more detailed your records the better.

Saves a lot of grief and guesswork.

When I first got our girl (provided it has not been a full year yet) I went thru 6 different scales to find one that worked. When it was up and running I would have her on it every time I fed her (just before) not the batteries went dead, so it has been 2 months since she has been on. I have to find a different scale those flat batteries go dead too fast and cost way too much.
But I think just before a feeding is a good time, also the once a month does not sound that bad......To take a middle ground have your bp on the scale every 2 weeks.

I tend to weigh mine once a month. To be honest, any more than that is overkill in my opinion. With the fluctuations in weight from eating and defecating, your numbers are probably going to be all over the place if you weigh them weekly and it won't really do you that much good. Monthly will give you a pretty accurate representation of what's going on with them weight wise.

I only weigh mine for breeding purposes, so not very often.

I weigh about twice a month and make sure those weighs are after a poo.

I weigh my entire collection every month. From snakes to geckos. And i weigh them on empty stomaches.

I weigh him after he poos. That way I know that I at least have a good base line to look at.

I weigh hatchlings and young females that I am trying to get up to size every few months, but once they are at adult size they never are weighed again.
