found an awesome cut list program for you DIYers
foudn this while googling.
its free, small and quick. enter what you want for pieces. and your material it optomizes the best cut method to maxamize the wood.
you can also print it. this allows you to easily bring it in and have someone cut it for you!
figured it would help. especially for rack builders etc.

Re: found an awesome cut list program for you DIYers
I have only glimpsed at the front page of the link, and must say, thank you so much! I'm going to look at it some more after this and hopefully use it in building a pvc baby rack to match my current rack. It should help a lot, especially for such expensive material. Any way I can reduce costs is just amazing.
Thank you!

Cool find. Cut lists are fun.
Remember though, if the direction the grain flows is important to your construction, crosscuts cut across the grain of the wood, rips go with it. If you need a certain size to have the grain running a certain way, double check what kind of cut you are making prior to actually putting metal to wood.
I may not be very smart, but what if I am?
