    Psychadelic

These are by an artist whose name escapes me, and was featured at the Asian Art Museum in San Francisco.

These things are HUGE. The last photo will give you an idea of how big...

    Re: Psychadelic

the artisit is Dale Chihuly. he is one of my favorite artist of all time! after seeing his art in person in inspired me to expand my art and try to work with glass more extensively. i took a class and did small blown glass peices and found it to be extremly difficult! it made me respect Chihuly even more!

Those things are awesome, the Mayo Clinic in Rochester where I'm from bought a bunch of those, and they're all over the different clinic buildings.

Can you imagine how time consuming that has to be? Ugh! Major respect to the artist! Awesome work!

    Re: Psychadelic

not to mention how exhausting! what most people don't realize is that these pieces are very heavy! think about how heavy fish tanks get! some of these pieces are solid glass. they require a special anvil like instrument so you can spin them.

socali his exhibits tour all over the US check his site to see if they are coming around you.

oh and just a little more on how kick butt this guy is....he only has one eye!!
