    We're practicing!

So, my parents sadly had to put down their kitty the Monday before Thanksgiving. My mother held her while she was put to sleep and she said that after the vet said she was gone, she wanted to day "can we have a do-over???? I changed my mind!"

She likely could have gone home for another week or two comfortably, but apparently the vet, on his own after they left did a necropsy on her and that next Sunday at church (they go to the same church) told them that she had pancreatic cancer and that there was not much that could have been done. He knew how difficult a decision it was for them to have her put down, and he knew that if they knew that there wasn't anything that could be done, they could find closure better.

Well, they've been missing kitty love - and my mom said "it's been over 40 years since we've not had a pet in the home"

So.......I'm going up there this weekend for a week, and Karl is going to see his Dad and be gone for five days, so that's five days that these two monsters....errr....angels have to get into mischief without adult supervision - so guess what? They get to come with me!

Here they are "practicing" for their ride in their crates:

Little sisters are SUCH a pain!

Man - thank goodness she's gone!

Haha, I don't remember your cats names, but the grey one looks a wee bit annoyed by the calico! Great pictures!

Sammy is the tabby and Lexi is the princess...err....calico!

Lexi is annoying to Sammy, but they love each other. I'll have to load some pictures I got of them last week! They groom each other all the time.
