New to the site
Hi, im Neal n sorry about my typing first off as im holding my anaconda atm.
im fairly new to snakes my first pet snake is my yellow anaconda, named Mystic. she was born 10/15/08 and i recieved her 10/29/08 and she is a sweet heart. had issues getting her to eat at first but now shes fine and eating great.
my second snake which i purchased 11/15/08 is a kenyan sand boa which was born in june/july i think the guy said, shes also a sweet heart, and eating well.

Wow, your snakes are way oposite in size.
Anaconda for a first snake, way to hop off the deep end. No biggie long as you love her.
Welcome!!
Got any pics of your snakes, we really like pictures here.

Re: New to the site
yea shes adorable, my anaconda is my favorite by far though. my anaconda ill kiss her on the head and lay her on my face and she just sits there, my sand boa, still kinda jumpy.
yea i did kinda jump off in the deep end getting an anaconda, but i have no regrets, and i love her to death.
when i was at the show, i almost got this beautiful anaconda, but she was wild caught, and she snapped at everybody who tried to pick her up/handle her except for me, and when they went to take her off my hand to put her back up, she bit the guy. aside from that if she wasnt wild caught i would of gotten her, or maybe, i dont have the space to keep 2 really big snakes, which is why i went with a sand boa aside from my anaconda, heres the pics of the wild caught though:
in that last pic, he/she had a really good grip on my thumb lol.

I would hate to pay your feeding bill for that Andaconda when she's bigger.
