Show Me What You're Working With!

Many of you here have taken some STUNNING photos of your herps and shared them here for all of us to enjoy. I am shopping for a camera so I can join your ranks, and would love input from all of you lovely people.

I would love to see what cameras you all are using!

Please comment with whatever information you have about your camera of choice, as well as whatever implements (light boxes, tripod, etc) you like to use, along with your favorite herp picture you have ever taken with it!
My Note 10+ takes OK pictures, but I definitely want to up my game a bit.

Cool topic. I've been wanting to get a decent camera too. I take tons of phone pics, it would be great to get more quality photos though.

Re: Show Me What You're Working With!

I'm using an Olympus TG-5 hand-held. It has a 'microscope' mode so it can take macro photos without a special lens. It is an underwater camera so it has a tendency to overexpose the photos and this has to be adjusted in a program. I tend to destroy a lot of cameras in my adventures, so I like the waterproof/tough features that are built-in.

It will also take around 30 seconds of high speed video with a fast memory card, but, because the shutter speed is so fast the light entering the aperture/second is reduced drastically so everything appears dark. Here is me on the business end of a defensive strike (@420fps).

    Small backdrop stand

Small PVC background roll (I have a few)
