Tullymore Forest Park. (Major dial up warning)

Whilst the wife and I were enjoying our weekend break, we took a wee stroll up through one of the many forest parks in and around Co.Down.

This is where I would have spent most of summer holidays as a youngster. This is the first time I have been back to the forest in about fifteen years.

Hope you enjoy the pics. There's enough of them

More pics to follow but that will do for now

Amazing pics! That looks like a really stunning place. I love how the structures look like they're coming out of the earth itself, instead of being built onto it. Nice!

Wow. In my next life... when I have antenna and wings, and live under a toad stool... I'm going to live there. Absolutely stunning.

Would you mind if I set one of your photos as my desktop background?

We have already made plans to go back for a week next summer or autumn and that still won't be enough time to go exploring

You have to see it with your own eyes to appreciate how beautiful and enchanting this place really is!

Don't know about Hobbits but there's plenty of Pine Martins about but it was impossible to get a pic of them

You're more than welcome to use one of the photo's for your desktop and it is indeed a stunning place. I'll be visiting Tullymore at least once a year, if not more from now on.
