Seneca Park Zoo - Rochester, NY DUW

Well... my little zoo here isn't much - but its only about 15 minutes from me so its nice to go there once in awhile and take a look at the animals. I just wish we had sunken down holding pens instead of everyone being behind fences - makes pictures difficult but I got these ones -

First is the rhinos - they actually got into a pretty good tussel while I was there watching -

Across from them are the Meerkats - which I think are just the cutest things ever!

This is the eagle - I was actually pretty happy with this shot since the poor little guy only has one wing - the wing on the other side you can see is missing.

I thought this cougar was cute because it was eating a cardboard box... obviously part of its natural habitat....

    Dancing elephant!

Penguins chillin' - I went when it was colder out so I was excited they were actually out -

Seal - out for a swim...

And last were the tigers - they were laying there all quiet until the wolves across from them started barking up a storm - then they got agitated and moved straight to patrolling the fence:

I did get one picture of the wolves - well I got several but the fence made it hard to get pictures of them when they were frolicking about:

The snakes I couldn't get since they were behind glass and the room was pretty dark - so when I tried to take picture they w/o flash because of the glass they were too blurry to make out.
