    My new WIRE pick ups

I now wish I had stayed for the raffle, but I had things to do, snakes to get home...
    My first morph....
I found this lovely pastel boy at Jim's South West Wisconsin Reptile
He was very nicely priced and has great blushing, a very pale head and back.
And well he is just purdy.
His name is Barack, in honor of the new pres to be.

And I picked up two corns, an albino and a normal just for fun.

Although Jim had this nice pastel, I just didn't think he was as nice as my boy.

Ungh, you need to put your camera on an indoor or tungsten lighting setting if you are taking pictures without a flash indoors where your lighting is done with tungsten. Too much red range hurts the eyes.

Mind you it's a gorgeous snake and I'm just extremely picky about images The biggest trouble comes from black lights, there is like nothing you can do to get away from purple spectrum. The moment you move away from blue lighting anything lit by anything else will start to turn red. Stupid mixed lighting.

Nice pickup! Good thing you didn't grab that pastel that was above my yellowbelly, I don't know if I could even call it a pastel! LOL.

And I think your photos are fine, far better than many I see posted, the comments were unnecessary.

What's rude about an opinion? Seriously?

It didn't come off as rude to me at all. It was good advice, and he told the poster how to take better indoor pictures next time. He even takes the time to explain why that happens with indoor photos and compliments the snake. No reason to take offense!

The snakes look fabulous . I like your pastel's blushing.
