    3 Snake racking system

I've only got two snakes right now and plan on getting one more. I don't have room for anymore after that so I'm wondering if anyone has any plans for a 3 tier cabinet-like racking system for BPs. If there arent any plans, can anyone tell me what type of tubs, heat tape, materials, etc i would need to try and make my own. Thanks!

I'm actually in the process of making plans for one using a 4'x8' sheet of pvc board and 4" flexwatt. I'll only be using half of that board to construct it which is awesome.
I'd send you how I make it in a week maybe less, I might attempt it this weekend or next week some time.

I'll have to do one of those DIY picture by picture rack building demonstrations

go to reptiletubs.com and pick out what size tub you are going to keep them in, then go from there with drawings with exact measurements. Then you can pick your material whether its melamine or pvc.

simple way: take almost any single wide rack and stop adding more levels when you hit 3

This is probably the cheapest way to do a 28qt tub rack. Go to Home Depot and buy a 96" x 24" sheet of melamine and have them cut it to 4x - 24 x 18 pieces and 6x - 24 x 4" pieces and buy a box of 2" wood screws. You'll need 48 screws. Use the 24x18 pieces for all 4 shelves, and the 4" pieces for the sides and back (2 per side and 2 in the back. Attach the 4 sides to the first shelf, flip it over, then use a 28qt and a 1/8" spacer board to lay lay your next shelf. Attach the 2nd shelf and repeat until all 4 shelves are attached. Finally attach the back boards and install flaxwatt. The total price should be $27 plus the flexwatt and thermostat. All my racks are solid melamine. It's heavy, but with only 3 tubs high it won't be too bad. Good luck!
