    Dominance?

So I have a male rat and a female rat living together, they have been together for almost 3 weeks now. Lately she has been sorta mean to the male, no blood but squeeling, is this normal or should I remove the male?

From what i have seen in my setup 1.2, it is normal. I have 1 dominant female that will pin the others down and sit on them till they stop fighting to show she is in control of the colony.

The also seem to squeal when they breed, from what i have seen.
