I am just giving an update on the fancy mouse project I have been working on. I didnt get too many interesting ones, just 3 calicos (2 being high golds) and some long haired fancy black mice. The others were albinos and were boring and are in my freezer right now. Anyways here is the pics

Yup, I either freeze them (euthanize first) for my snakes later on, or just feed them live.

Do you use shredded paper as your main bedding?

I've been thinking of that as a cheap alternative but is ink toxic to mice?

Also magazines v.s. newspaper?

Wish I had a pile of babies like that. My first time mom or someone ate all the babies the last time. Haven't had any survive luck yet. I've had my colony for about two months...she's just starting to get fat again.
