I've been working with him a lot, and he's getting better about being handled. He doesn't mind me looming over him like a big scary thing - couldn't care less actually. And he's fine with my hand being near him and in his enclosure, etc. But if I touch him, well ... then the poopie hits the fan. I have to make a quick grab for him or he takes off. Once he's out, he's fine so long as I keep him low to the ground, and don't try to restrain him in any way.

Richard, I'm sorry to say that if you don't have it anymore, you have sold off your high status. You are currently still just a loser.

And no, this one is not yours, nor can you have him. He's only a few months old (2 or 3). Got him at Daytona, and he is hands down THE best looking white-sided rat I've ever seen.

Those are beautiful Licorice Black Rats! I incubated a clutch of 17 for a friend of mine last year. I was tempted to keep quite a few, but we ended up having to move.
