I have one also. Mine is male and 8 years old. He's still in great health and shows no signs of being that old. They are a nice breed with a good temperament but many people are scared by their formidable appearance which can be a good thing when a burglar is choosing a victim.

Cheers all he is great with other dogs but a bit funny with humans..ok once he gets to know you though.
