Hey everyone! My name is Britney and I'm from So. Illinois. I am currently in the vet tech program (I love it!!) And I just bought my first ball python. I always wanted one, but my mom never would let me get one

I bought him on Sunday, October 5th. I was told different information by the people at the pet store and by a vet I talked to. When people in my class told me to hit up google I ended up here. I had no idea how to take care of a snake. I have a lizard (Uromastyx) and she's fairly simple to take care of. I've had her for a year and a half. But by finding this site, there is so much great info! It's been a lifesaver!

Hey Britney!! Sooo glad you found us!!! Take some time to check out all of the care sheets and other 'stickies' under each of the headings- lots of good info!! Also, the search feature can sometimes bring up lots of other info that may help to answer some questions.

Always feel free to post whatever question you might have; there are lots of people who are happy to help out and share their techniques and experiences with others!
