    Feed during shed or not?

My male is heading into shed, and I'm wondering if I should feed or not? He's been eating very well since he arrived, so I don't think one feeding should hurt (he ate within days of arrival and hadn't missed a feeding since). So, do you feed during sheds or not?

Sometimes. If I have already thawed out a rodent, and didn't realize they were opaque, I'll offer it--and sometimes they take it. If I see they're blind, I usually just wait til they're done with the shed. I wouldn't feed a snake that's clearing just before shed, though.

I feed them whenever. If they choose to eat. they eat. if they do not. Then, they do not. I have never experienced a problem with my practices personally.

Sometimes i find that it expedites a shed, if they have cleared from going opaque. Sometimes, it is still a day yet. Eventually they always shed, and perfectly at that.

Doesn't hurt to try. Mine never refuse because of an impending shed!

I usually wait. If they missed a feed day while in shed, I feed the day they are finished or at least the next day.

I'd rather keep them on schedule. If they decide to refuse while in shed, they can stand to wait till next tuesday.

I feed on a 5 day schedule so they don't eat on the same day each week.

I let them decide if they want to eat or not. Usually all of them eat, I have only had a few not take while in shed. Try and if not then let them be.

Nice work, Must be a good feeling to have that complete shed. I am almost there, I still get the bits & pieces but today was my closest to a full piece...

I wait. The shedding process is a stressful time for them and I prefer to leave them be.
