    My Bulls :D

Bullsnakes are definitely one of my main favorite snakes. Theyre active and have alot of personality. Lots of Bluffing, and seriously GOOD eaters. Theres nothing quite as fun to hear as a bullsnakes hiss. They really have that down quite well!

Whitesided Bullsnake- Male, Produced by Harald Moore

Hypomelanistic Bullsnake - Male, Produced by Bob Deptula ( i think thats spelled right) Hopyard Herps

Normal Bullsnake - Female, Produced by Harald Moore * no new pics of her, ill get on that...*

Those morphs are both cool, but I like the Hypo the best! I'd never really seen any bullsnake morphs, I'm used to seeing the wild types.

How're the temperaments on them as captive bred? I know the WCs I've handled in the field were nasty flighty and bitey critters.

Theyre a little hissy, but get over it pretty quick. That hypo male hardly ever gets really cranky, unless i shove the camera in his face. "WTF is that big shiny thing, I HISS AT JOO!" lol Hes pretty docile though, and fairly chill.

I dont know about W/c because ive never dealt with wild bulls before, But these guys are handleable, and if you hold them regularly and dont really give in to their bluffing antics, theyre fine. They act big and bad, but i get more "bump your hand while hissing" responses, than i do bite. The only time ive ever been bitten by one of these guys is feeding time. Then you might want to look out, because they LOVE food.

Did you set down a heat lamp, or pad with a hide? sometimes that will attract them. That or food. Im sorry you lost yours, that sucks!

what did you use to secure the tank? They need a latching lid, or sliding that locks in place. ( as do all snakes) The clips for tanks are about 3 bucks. Petco will have them.

I hope you find him/her soon!
