A neck to drive any vam-pire craaaazy

    Hi,

OK I may have been watching true blood too much.

I was cleaning out my little normal females tub when I realised just how light the sides of her neck were.

I tried to grab some decent shots but it's the wee small hours so lamplight was the only option - I liked how the first one came out and the other two are ok but you don't want to see the other 18 I took.

I'm still going to have to wait another year to breed her but I am quite looking forward to seeing what she produces.

Very pretty! You should call her "Priestess", she's got a white collar

    Hi,

Thanks guys - she is a real little sweetheart too and eats like a garbage disposal (finally - she had me worried in her "yoof" ).

One of my older girls has a similar mark but nowhere near as light but I can't remember what she looked like as a youngster to know if it is a natural fade thing.

Re: A neck to drive any vam-pire craaaazy

    Hi,

Yep as far as I know - both parents were CF and I plan to breed her back to her dad and (if mom lays again ) a male offspring back to mom just to double check.

Cora is a very late 2006 (21 Nov) who regarded food as some horrible plot to kill her for the first half of her life.

I almost gave up on her several times but she eventually started eating fuzzy's (one per week ) and has only relatively recently decided it is not only ok to eat better sized meals but actually more than one at a sitting is ok too.

She is now around 760g so gawd alone knows when she will reach a size I'd be happy to breed her at - her mom is small too but not that small (around 1500g at 7-9 years old I think - can't find the book).

She might never make it to breeding size I suppose but she was the first female I hatched so she is going nowhere in any case.
