    Alright, this is my second fully complete litter! To top it off its in the 15+ range This is a second time mom so now I know that the first litters will never be that good from these guys...

    ASF's are adorable once they get their entire coats in, but, at the pink stage, with those guard hairs, they remind me of trantulas. Anyways, YAY for pinks!

    Mine are tame as any ASF's here in the US. They arent devil dogs like Ed's, but yea.

    If its any help, their mothers had 15 and 16 each their first time.

    Then out of their 5 daughters, 2 had 18, 1 had 17, and 2 had less than 9.

    please dont laugh at me for askin a common sense question but i dont know much about ASFs what is guard hair exactly? to protect from predators?

    My ASFs are mostly nasty. One (one eye) tries to bite me every chance he gets. I've been bitter harder by ASF weans than by full size rats.

    There definitely seem to be different strains/lines with vastly different temperments.

    These guys from Greg seem to be pretty nice so far. And all the others I got from Ed and produced were nice, save the breeder male - who is resting in Bailee's belly tonight! LOL
