People who think they are rip-off artists?

Since opening my online business, I've had people tell me they paid and demand to know where their order is, when, in fact, they have never paid, and some have never made any type of contact with me before. However, lately, I've been getting quite a few of them. One in particular sent an order without payment, claiming that he just made payment. I sent an email telling him that no payment was received, please double check the paypal to make sure he confirmed payment. He hadn't responded, now, two weeks later, he is claiming to have made payment on 9/29 and demanded to know where his products were. For those who sell online, do you get these kind of people nagging at you, trying to get you to send them stuff without paying for it? If so, what do you do? How long do you "entertain" them and continue asking for proof of payment before giving up and ignoring them?

You can contact Paypal to verify they have not paid. I dont worry about them because they cannot prove they have paid, so they cant post or anything saying otherwise.

First off, I would make sure your 'ducks are in a row'. If you have a retail sort of website, people could be buying stuff and not getting through with the transaction. I would make sure your website is functional 100%....

.....if everything is ok.....then you are just have to sort through the scumbags like the rest of us .....

What sort of online sales site are you using?

BTW I never have the option to pay on the site. I always made them email me for payment. However retail sites would have a hard time of it like that.

I would double check with paypal, just to be sure.

I've never had that, I do get the scammers who want to send me $7500 for $500 in snakes, then I just give them and their "agent" the snake and $7000 cash when they pick it up. When I tell them to just send me $500 they get very mad and insist they're sending me $7500. Annoying and funny at the same time just to jerk them around.
