    My Angels

Well I finally got my own fish tank and got my Angelfish I've always wanted. I've only got four Angels but I didn't want to overload the tank as I also have platy's and swordtail's in there as well. So here they are...

My favorite is the marble one. I'm hoping if any do pair up it will be the marble and the black one.

    Thanks!

    Re: My Angels

I have them in a 55 gallon tank. I got a sweet deal on a Oceanic off Craigslist. Got just about everything I needed with it for only $75.
Total right now we have 2 55 gallon tanks and 1 35 gallon hex tank. My boyfriend is saving up for a 125 gallon to put his Oscars in as they will need a bigger tank soon.

    Thanks!

    Re: My Angels

angels are my favorite. I had a breeding pair a while back that gave me three "clutches" of babies. Unfortunately, I think I got some bad information because I wasn't able to keep any of them alive. I tried a different method each time, and keeping the babies in a milk jug worked the longest, but I was told to do daily water changes and, looking back on it, that seems excessive.

Anyway, you have some really nice ones. I'm jealous - my dad sold my 55gal for $20 right before I was going to move out and take it with me. I was SO mad at him. Now that I'm into snakes, I probably won't have anymore fish for a while once these are gone. I'd rather use the tanks for herps.

    lovely angels! congrats!

I have had a breeding pair in a 75g for almost 10 years
the day before yesterday they spawned yet again
and yesterday morning I awoke to find the male dead
me and his female will miss him, but it was a great way to go!

    Re: My Angels

Thank you all for the compliments! I do love just watching them glide around the tank. The marble one seems to be the boss for now. We will see if any of them pair up. I'm hoping they don't as I'd like to keep them all together without problems. Not really sure I'd be ready for the amount of babies they have.

Fishmommy: I am sorry to hear about your male. That must have been hard. But like you said what a way to go.
