How to help with bad shed on their head. Most of them don't like being touched on their heads?

Thank you very much for this, I'm dealing with a bad shed on a brand new BP and i would have been extremely paranoid about putting it in a container with a lid. To make myself feel better would i be able to put some small holes in the lid? Not big enough for him to escape. or would that defeat the purpose?

My baby ball just had her first shed, but it was bad. I am wondering if this might cause any stress to her?

    Re: Bad shed? No problem.

Ok so I've had my lil guy about a month. I'm feeding him 1 adult mouse every 5 days and he hasn't shed yet. Should I be feeding bigger food? Hes 3 or 4 months old. I live in STL and can't find a rat breeder so it's just petco right now. Either adult mice or huge rats.
