    again!

    ok i have read and seen the pictures in the stick bad shed, no problem. well that is exactly what i have been doing. i have done it three times in a 5 day period and the skin wont come off i dont want to hurt the snake by trying to keep taking the skin off so now what do i do?

    You put them in a tub with the water half way up there body for up to 30min and then used a wet towel to take off the shed?

    yes i have done it 3 times and the humidity in his cage is at like 85 to 90 %

    leave him in the tub for about a hour then, but just make sure you dont put in to much water.

    try soaking a pillow case in luke warm water.. put ur snake in it.. tie it up and put the pillow case in the tank under the heat source..

    Hi,

    I wouldn't put the pillow case in the hottest part of the cage - aim for somewhere in the middle of the temp range is possible.

    I'm probably being over cautious but if the snake cannot escape I always try and avoid the possibility of making it too hot as that carries more risks than slightly too cool for the short period of time we are talking about.

    To the OP;

    How long ago did the snake start shedding its skin and how much is stuck on it and where?

    Are there any reasons it might be having bad sheds? Vet treatments, mites, general stress kind of things?

    7 adult Royals (2.5), 1.0 COS Pastel, 1.0 Enchi, 1.1 Lesser platty Royal python, 1.1 Black pastel Royal python, 0.1 Blue eyed leucistic ( Super lesser), 0.1 Piebald Royal python, 1.0 Sinaloan milk snake 1.0 crested gecko and 1 bad case of ETS. no wife, no surprise.
