Help!?
One of our pregnant female rats has been in labor for at least a couple of hours, and theirs blood all over the cage but no babies. She obviously isnt going to be able to push them out herself so i was wondering if there is anything i can do to help, if i should just leave her, or if it wuld be best to euthanize her. All help appreciated! Thanks

Re: Help!?
She's either having a miscarriage or a baby is stuck in the birth canal, either wedged by having too big of a head or wedged in between another sibling.
I would recommend either taking her to the vet or euthanizing her. Her uterus will likely rupture eventually and she will be in alot of pain. Letting her go now, while she's at least slightly more comfortable, will be the most humane thing.
Just for future reference, how big was she and what type of rat? (if it's a hairless, then they shouldn't be bred anyway unless they are from a proven line).

Re: Help!?
Shes not hairless, just a regular albino. And shes probably actually the biggest female we have. She looks pretty weak, so i was leaning towards euthanizing her. Thanks for the input
