Hi,

If I bred a normal male to a spider female would I still have the same odds of getting spider babies?
I don't know, I don't have any normal females, so having a male wouldn't benefit me too much unless I got normal females.
I think I might go with the male though, just because I liked him FIRST. :]

Well looking at what you already have listed in your sig then there is no reason you couldn't breed your male het caramel to the female spider and get spiders 50% het for caramel - dunno about you but I really want to see what a caramel spider would look like.

I think both are hott, dom and co-dom females are where its at though. jmo

Yeah, I would actually say get the female. They take longer to grow to breeding size, so it's better to get them sooner, and males can always be got for good prices...but not always females. That's why I chose the girl at the show even though she was $100 more than the male. Worth it IMO if she keeps the light gold coloring she has.
