    BP immunity to RI?

You guys know the whole story with my RI snakes. But, my friend was asking me, is a bp immune to an Ri after it gets one. In other words, once it gets a respiratory infection, can it get it again? I didn't know the answer to this and I was beginning to get very curious because my normal male bp who has already gotten a RI didn't get another RI when my friend held my albino w/ an ri and then the normal bp. But on the other hand, my spider did get an Ri from the albino because of the same incident. (my friend holding infected animal and then non-infected animal) The spider has never had a RI, but the normal has. The spider got it and the normal didn't. Sorry if that was really confusing. lol If you want me to rephrase that I would be happy too.

I dont know for sure but I dont see why not. Its the same as you for me if we get a cold we can get it again. They may build up a higher tolerance to it though. As I said I dont know for sure thats a good question though.

Yes it can and certainly will if the husbandry or conditions are not right.... such as inappropriate heating. It's possible it could of contacted it your friend holding an infected animal.... question is why was this allowed.

I would think of it in the sense of, if a person gets a RI (pneumonia), they can get it again..

Its an infection, not a virus. Theres no reason they can't get it multiple times.
