Look what came in with the storms today

We had big thunderstorms today and when I went out to feed my hjorses, this bedraggled little bundle was in my barn....

    Haha, cute!

We found 3 kittens someone had abandoned outside of our show barn the other day. They were almost hawk food, there was a big red tail watching them.

Re: Look what came in with the storms today

oh i think this kitten is staying. the kids have named it, but unfortunately, even though i have bred dogs and can tell their gender, i can't seem to guess what this kitten is!!! it looks like NEITHER. i guess we will wait and see. maybe it is really young or something.

the kids would like to call the kitten, "A Perfect Storm". I think the kitten looks like a Max but I have to agree that name is a good one.

Awww he or she looks just like the abandoned kitten we found earlier this summer. Our is a male (he was old enough that it was very apparent). We named him Sebastian. I'm so glad you gave the little one a good home.

Re: Look what came in with the storms today

We are all entranced with this little kitten. We did give it a bath this morning since it seems not to be taking care of itself very carefully. It was totally quiet, didn't thrash around or protest, even when I accidentally dunked her face in the water. Just a silent meow after that. This kitten is the king/ queen of the silent meow. It barely makes any noise and when it does make a noise it sounds like a little tiny bird chirping.

I think I need to get her to the vet as soon as I can, though. It seems very very young to me. Eating and drinking and pooping, but still seems like quite a young baby.

Here he is, drier and cleaner, with some meals in his little belly. He is definitely a boy.
