Can ASF's be bred in same room as snakes?

If I were to have a tank with a breeding colony of ASF's can they be in the same room as my snakes or will this drive my snakes nuts and possibly make them agressive?

Re: Can ASF's be bred in same room as snakes?

I know lots of breeders keep their snakes in the same room as their breeding mice/rats/ASFs. I do it too, and have had no problems.
ASFs are not very smelly either so I don't think it would drive them too batty or anything. :]

My ASF's are on top of my rack, and my rats are 2 steps away from my rack - no issues.

Re: Can ASF's be bred in same room as snakes?

We've got both ASF's and regular rats breeding in the same large room that our BP's are racked in. Doesn't seem to bother either group since they all eat, poop, make babies and otherwise seem unbothered by each other's scent.
