    New Normals

I'm relatively new to snake keeping, have been caring for a cornsnake for 3 years now, but when these guys were brought to my attention I just had to have them. They join our zoo :>

    And this little one too:

They are so curious, and not nervous at all with giant fingers cleaning their enclosure:>

    They are nice little snakes.

I have corns and BPs, they are a great complement to each other. Congrats on the new zoo additions.

Thanks for the kind words... I wouldn't say that the care is the same for corns per se, but I also wouldn't say it is too terribly different :>

Thanks :> Today was feeding day, and this one wasn't interested in eating. It was however, interested in exploring instead.

Guess we will try again tonight, its sibling ate...

If he refused, offering again so soon can actually be detrimental. He's not in any danger of starving, so just wait another week and double check temps and that he has a nice secure hide!

With that in mind, when I finished the DIY hoods, I moved the one that didn't eat into its new home... I'm out of craft paper otherwise the three sides not for viewing would be papered off.

    Re: New Normals

Hm.. I hope your not keeping both of them in one enclosure..? :[

Well set up cage otherwise! If that is a hide on the right side.. which I think it is. :]
Your like me.. I've had a cornsnake for 5 years and just decided to get a ball python. Ahah. Cornsnakes don't need as much humidity except when shedding and aren't as picky about the cold side being in the 80s.
