Can I house my ball python with hermit crabs?

And the ball python was crazy interested in them.





And yes, they are being housed in what was once the Croc skink tank. I couldn't stand to see it sitting empty any longer. I had hermies as a kid and they were my fave. I'm actually really glad to have them again. Oh, and please don't make fun of my photos or my choice of reading material.

The hermies and snake are adorable, but can not be housed together as they have totally different needs. Have you tried housing your hermies in a semi-aquatic setup? We found that they live much longer when in a tank that's about 50/50 land and water. We also offer fresh foods in addition to the hermit crab food, and have had them live long, healthy lives. My oldest daughter has 4 of them in her room right now set up like that.
