    Anybody have a pic....

Does anybody have a picture of an actual Fire Spider. I've heard that the Fire Spider on NERD's site is actually just a spider so I was wondering if anybody here produced one and had a pic.

I can't imagine NERD posting a pic of a spider and calling it a Fire Spider. Kevin and Kara have way too much to lose to do something like that!

    Re: Anybody have a pic....

LOL...where do people come up with this stuff? Let's make assumptions based on rumor instead of going straight to the source & act as though it is fact.

Here's a copy of my reply to you on ks...

No, the Fire Spiders on our website are a combination of Fire & Spider. We wouldn't put them up there if that's not what they were.

It's a subtle combo, one you have to see in person to really appreciate (or maybe we just need to take better pics)...we have several of them here & they stick out like sore thumbs compared to normal Spiders.

Hatchlings & juvies have a distinct brassy yellow undertone to them (i.e. middle pic) that turns into a very light, beautiful gold-ish background as the animal matures (first & third pics). The Spider patterning is typically reduced, and the white lateral markings are either extremely reduced or absent.

Can I clarify anything else for you?

    Re: Anybody have a pic....

I've seen the fire spider in person at NERD - it IS a subtle morph, but it IS clear to see in person as well.

I agree with Kara though, instead of speculating about what they have posted, why not just ask them directly? They really don't bite!

Yes, but we whiffed on that. Made some awesome Pastel Fires & Spider Fires though. Hopefully we'll hit it next time around, cause it should make a really, really sharp looking Bumble!!

I can only imagine! I'm looking forward to that one.

One a side note, the pastel lesser you've had on KS for a while now has made me contemplate selling a kidney on the black market
