    Super Sulcata Shelter of Summer

Well its starting to warm up enough that I can put the torts outside every day....so naturally my GF and I redid their summertime hideaway. Everything in here is edible from the grass, to the geraniums, even the nasturtiums. I ordered this really really awesome grass mix from http://www.sulcatafood.com

But I just thought I would show you what I built so they could get sun, food, shade and exercise all at the same time. Oh and there is a hardware cloth and wood frame lid that goes over the top

Lemme know what you guys think!

You may be surprised at how well they climb. Be careful they don't climb out and wander off.

Nice set up though, very neat.
I may not be very smart, but what if I am?

awww I love them! Id love a sulcata but I cant handle their size and the enclosures they need later on. Maybe one day i'll get a star/spider tortoise or a box turtle

Come here little guy. You're awfully cute and fluffy but unfortunately for you, you're made of meat

I actually never have them in there without the top on, Im afraid of hawks, more so than them wandering.

Yeah space isnt an issue here, a family friend has a huge farm, with TONS of space, for a nice home.....when the time comes!
