    The snake and rat guardians!

Here are the guard dogs. Be careful don't let the little ones size fool you. She's wiry.

Big boy is an Anatolian Shepperd (some were between 135 and 150 lbs) Stopped weighing when I hurt myself lifting him!
Small old girl is a mutt (about 32 lbs)

They only got recognized about 15 years ago as an AKA (I think thats the right initials) breed. Small member of the mastiff family. They average 150 lbs. Ours dad was like 180. They are a working dog used too watch flocks and such. They will generally just lay around with the flock until danger comes then they put themselves between the danger and the flock.

I considered getting one of those Turks when I was researching a good home protector. I ended up with a Dogue de Bordeaux. Your choice is equally good.

I don't know about that! By the time we got him house broke and through the puppy stage we had to replace every carpet in the house and the living room couch! They don't just leave a wet spot they pee a lake!!! Now that he is 5 and house broken though he is a good teddy bear and he even starts barking and going nuts when I start cheering loudly for my driver in NASCAR! 88
