    Shedding

What is the longest everyone snakes have been in clear? My little noodle (1year 7 month old) ball python came out of blue a week ago and still not shed the tank humidity is 75% plus a humidity box in the tank temps are 76f cool side and 90f warm side behaviour is all normal curious as always but hiding more than usual I’m just wondering if anyone has experienced a long clearing process before

Yes. Not unusual. Can take a bit. Good you have a humidity box/moist hide. Make sure overall humidity is 55-60%, or even a little higher, and your noodle should have a great shed.

On another note, I'd bring the cool side up to 78F as long as it doesn't push the warm side up. 90F is the limit. Ideally, 78-80F cool side and 86-89F hot side.

Yes, some have taken longer to clear, & it might mean they're a little dehydrated -or are digesting from a recent meal, which "competes" for the same moisture needed to shed well.
Wait & see, & keep the humidity UP.

FYI- Most snakes "in shed" will stay on the cool side- that's very normal. And trust them to know what they need-

Yeh I’ve just came to realise they just prefer the cool side unless digesting
