In the fifth picture you can see the return electricity coming off the power structures... reaching from the ground into the sky. That's sweet! You should send that one into weather.com or something....

Cool. I'd like to try to "catch" lightning some time. Did you use a long exposure?

Yea I dont have a remote or anything, so I just threw it in aperture priority and set the exposure for as high as possible. It would stay open for 35 seconds. Any other mode would make it really red and bright. Like I said, I don't really know what I'm doing here, just goofing around!
Hopefully we'll have some better storms in the future.
