    Oxbow Park pt. 2 *DUW*

Went to Oxbow Park again this weekend, had my new camera along so I snapped a few pictures.

    Whitetail deer

Doe a deer, a female deer...

    Bison

This mane belongs in an 80s hair band!

    Mmmm...turkey

Craziest Porcupine ever...and apparently a male.

How much wood could a wood chuck chuck? None, he's sleepy.

    Superman Ground Squirrel

    See...told ya!

The MN gophers were being mean to the WI badger... hence those sad eyes.

    Some of the park

    Sleepy Coyote

Perhaps the happiest wolf I've ever seen...

    Otters

    Enjoy!
    Jason

We need more of that here in Cali, and less of not that........LOL

Looks like it was a blast.

Were you able to feed the Bison? I used to know a fella that had a pair of them, and we would buy a bag of carrots and go up there to visit and feed the carrots. It was quite a rewarding experience, and it looks as though this may be similar.

The Bison really don't come close enough for you to feed, but they do have hay laying around near the fence if they were to. The whitetails on the other hand, pretty well dog tame.

Its definitely a fun little "zoo", and only 10 minutes from my house.

    Great pics.

Pretty sweet that it's only 10 minutes away.
