    Cleaning?

I found some fake vines/branches in my closet the other day and I was pondering putting them in with my finches (a society and a zebra). However, they used to be in with my dads' collared lizards a while ago. Firstly, would this be safe to put into their cage at all? And if so, how would I go about properly cleaning/disinfecting them in a safe manner? Thanks beforehand for any input!

I wouldn't think that there would be a problem. Disinfect the items with a mixture of water and 10% household bleach, then rinse thoroughly and dry it out.

    Thanks!

My dad actually surprised me with a brand new bendable branch for my finches but I'll still disinfect the aforementioned vines/branches and put them in with another of our critters.
